We are based at Kilbirnie Loch in North Ayrshire, Scotland, catering for slalom skiers, recreational skiers and wakeboarders. New members of all ages and abilities, including complete beginners are welcome. If you are interested in becoming a member, please contact the club secretary to find out about taster sessions and joining the club. We are the only ski boat on the loch and all our drivers are SBDA qualified, have PVG disclosure and first aid training. Coaches are UKCC qualified. We are affiliated to Waterski and Wakeboard Scotland/British Waterski and Wakeboard, and are fully insured. Our season runs April to September.
Facilities and Equipment
Our current boat is a Ski Nautique with Zero Off and a Wakeboard Pylon. We have two 6-buoy slalom courses (with pre-gates) set at 90 degrees so we can ski in most conditions. We have wet suits, flotation vests, skis, wakeboards and a training bar for beginners. The boathouse has changing rooms, WC, shower, cooking facilities and a barbeque when the Scottish weather permits.
