CLUB PRIVACY STATEMENT & COMMUNICATION PREFERENCES

Kyle Waterski and Wakeboard (The Club) take the protection of the data that we hold about you as a member seriously and will do everything possible to ensure that data is collected, stored, processed, maintained, cleansed and retained in accordance with current and future UK data protection legislation.

Please read the club full privacy notice carefully to see how The Club will treat the personal information that you provide to us. We will take reasonable care to keep your information secure and to prevent any unauthorised access.

In addition to receiving general club communications please let us know how else you would like to hear from us.

DATA SHARING WITH BRITISH WATER SKI AND WAKEBOARD AND WATERSKI AND WAKEBOARD SCOTLAND

When you become a member of or renew your membership with Kyle Water Ski and Wakeboard you will automatically be registered as a member of British Water Ski & Wakeboard (BWSW) and Waterski and Wakeboard Scotland (WWS). We will provide BWSW & WWS with your personal data (but NOT any medical information provided above) which BWSW will use to issue a membership card, a quarterly magazine and to enable access to an online portal for you (myBWSW) and WWS will issue a membership card. BWSW will contact you to invite you to sign into and update your MyBWSW portal (which, amongst other things, allows you to set and amend your privacy settings). It is vital, therefore, that a valid email address is given, so that you can ensure that your data is correct and so that you can set your own privacy settings.

LEGITIMATE INTERESTS (GDPR)

The photographs presented in the two galleries  on this website contain recent and archive pictures of individuals.  Kyle Waterski and Wakeboard takes the view that it has a legitimate interest in presenting these photographs in order to illustrate the activities of the club.  The club has considered whether publishing these photographs might cause any individuals detriment or embarrassment and does not believe this is the case.  If any individual wishes a photograph removed for any reason, please contact the club via the contact page.
